A fresh, healthy smoothie made with blueberries, strawberries, spinach, banana, and orange juice. You won’t even taste the spinach, it tastes so good!
Bye bye cookies and hello green smoothies.
I am a self-proclaimed cookie junkie but am a big believer in balance. I want my body to be strong and healthy so I try to balance my love of baked goods with foods that help to make my mind sharp and give me the extra energy I need in the morning. I have four kids to get off to school so I need all the help I can get!
I am obsessed with green smoothies. This Energizer Spinach Berry Smoothie combines so many superfoods. It is the ideal way to get my kids to eat a big dose of fruits and vegetables in one sitting. This way they are getting the whole food instead of just the juice. The whole food contains fiber and all of the vitamins and minerals that help the body work at its highest capacity.
It’s the new year and one of my biggest goals is to take care of myself. I have to honest here — with myself and with you. I have let myself get so busy taking care of my kids and working on Modern Honey that I have neglected my own health. I am excited to work on bringing more balance into my life! I am a work in progress and will keep you posted on my journey. Wish me luck!
